How To Evolve in 2022

Posted by on

One year ago we were quarantined, facing much uncertainty about the status of the world and what 2021 would bring. One year later, we're still dealing with the aftermath of the highs and lows of the pandemic. As a result, you may be even more committed to putting your life back together and defining your new normal in 2022. We are here to support you in that.

We believe you're still growing, and the best parts of your womanhood you have yet to see. We are excited about the new levels of queendom you'll discover in the new year - but before the ball drops, we want to make sure you're mentally ready to embrace the change.

Here are some steps on how to process your own evolution.

Step 1 Let Go of the Old You

For many, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed us forever. You may not look the same, think the same way, enjoy the same things, or have the same goals in life. It's okay to grieve who you were, but we encourage you to embrace the beauty of life now, without comparing your life to what it should, could, or would have been. No matter how put-together life may have seemed before the pandemic, we want to encourage you that who you are - today - is the best version of you. Love on you from the present.

Step 2: Get To Know The New You

If you've noticed different likes, preferences, and dreams surfacing - don't shy away from them! Whether it's your personal style or a new hobby, lean in and explore the new things that delight you. Liberate yourself from your routine to incorporate fresh, healthier habits. Relaxing into change can be difficult, but be confident, knowing it's making a better you.

Step 3: Introduce The New You

Steps one and two are so necessary; they set the stage for step three. As you become more confident in who you're evolving to be, you'll also develop new boundaries and expectations of the people around you that need to be communicated. Therefore, it's important to share how you're evolving with loved ones and ask for the grace to continue to explore you. Don't apologize for taking your time to understand your growth. The people who love you will accept you and adapt to precisely who you want to be.

We know the past year hasn’t been easy for you, but we want you to know that we're proud of you! We hope these steps will help guide you as you find new ways to prioritize and listen to yourself in 2022. See you in the new year!
